Tiap keputusan adalah pilihan yang berkonsekuensi.
Konsekuensi yang harus kita terima dalam proses belajar menjadi dewasa.
You know that you have a Third Culture Kids (TCK) at home when...
- ... your children can not answer the question "Where are you come from? ".
- ... your children wore almost all their clothing as a child either have been used from others or were donated.
- ... your children speak at least two languages fluently, but they're not so good in grammatic.
- ... your children flew, before they could walk.
- ... your children have a passport a long time ago, however they don't have any driver's license.
- ... your children go the school every day, but they go to their "home" in the vacation.
- ... your children ask you, whether it is worthwhile to learn knowing new people, because they have to say goodbye in the future.
- ... your children always tell their friends that they will go "home" one day. They also talk about a place, where they've never gone before; however their whole family are living there.
- ... your children are impressed with the "tidy" and "controlled" jams in the highway.
- ... your children used to get the "Lebaran Ied Fithr" gift from the relatives first at the "Lebaran Ied Adha".
- ... your children have dreamed as a child of "main layangan", "kelereng" and "galaksin".
- ... your children feel nowhere at home.
- ... your children addressbook is thicker as their lexicon.
- ... your children are the world champion in the packaging.
- ... your children still use the sandals when the first snow falls.
- ... your children wash the plastic bags and make the aluminum foil clean: to make them usable again!.
- ... your children have the time zone table next to the telephone.
- ... your children taste Chlor and think about of fresh vegetable.
